Wind of Change

德国Scorpions乐队成立于1969年，经过原来乐队成员离队、归队，复离队，新成员仓促受命加入乐团等分分合合经历，Scorpions乐队于1970年代中后期风靡西欧，并在80年代相继征服北美洲与南美洲。

1986年，Scorpions首次在东欧铁幕国家演唱，在当时仍为共产专治政权统治的匈牙利举行了两次演唱会。

1988年，Scorpions再次选择以冲破铁幕的方式亲身把摇滚音乐带入共产专治政权的开山鼻祖苏联，并在苏俄的列宁格勒举办了十场满场的演唱会，对著将近三十五万名苏俄歌迷演唱，一举拉开了乐队Savage Amusement世界巡回演唱的序幕。

Scorpions 1988年在列宁格勒的演出，让苏联当局破例在一年后的8月，允许深具历史意义的“莫斯科和平音乐节”的举行。

在这场音乐飨宴中，共有二十六万名苏联摇滚乐迷赴会；另外，共襄盛举的国际巨星与乐团还包括Bon Jovi、Motley Crue、Skid Row、Cinderella和Ozzy Osbourne，以及苏俄本土乐团Gorky Park等人。

1989年9月，Scorpions乐团主唱Klaus Meine将这场演出所获得的体验与感受，写入乐队过后的畅销单曲《Wind Of Change》的歌词当中。

1989年11月，在完全出乎意料的情况下，分隔东、西德的柏林围墙幡然倒下。

1989年至1990年间，从东德开始，东欧共产国家纷纷发生的剧变，保加利亚、捷克、匈牙利、波兰、罗马尼亚相继出现政权更迭。

1990年6月12日，苏联最大的加盟共和国俄罗斯宣布成为“主权国家”，直至该年年底，共有15个苏联加盟共和国作出“拥有国家主权”的宣誓。

1991年8月，苏联共产党的残余保守势力连同军队发动政变，软禁被他们认为导致苏联分裂的总统戈尔巴乔夫，然而，政变迅速在几日后遭到挫败。

1991年12月26日，掀起半世纪全球性红色思潮，让几代人不计荣辱与得失前仆后继追求平等理想，却倒过来饱尝铁腕政权压制和扭曲人性的苏维埃社会主义共和国联盟（苏联），正式宣告解体。

自此，《Wind Of Change》成为铁幕开启、共产主义衰落和冷战结束的主题曲。
