The importance of Emotional Intelligence in Leadership:
(1) Highly vigilant of the imminent emotional tipping point of oneself and the counterpart
(2) Defuse the trigger of negative emotion by shifting oneself or the counterpart's focus to different mental or physical routine (not the heated discussed topic anymore)
(3) Insulate the negativity of current moment from the prospect of the next moment
(4) Substitute the sense of resentment with procedural handling and thereby detach the value judgement from the emotional individual
