What kind of future would you opt for?

The process of creating a clean and competitive political climate where our party leaders would debate issues rationally based on ideology rather than racial and religious sentiment takes time.

US took more than 100 years to realize Abraham Lincoln's vision in 19th century when the incident where a black lady Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat in a bus triggered Martin Luther King's Civil Rights Movement and since then changed the social status of the blacks and fostered closer tie between the whites and the blacks in the US. France and UK took even longer period than this.

Malaysia has much shorter history compared to US and other developed countries which spent centuries to overcome and rectify the worst corrupted social political culture and structure. Therefore it is no shame for our country to have corrupt practices, racist remarks and bloody political gimmicks on our way in developing the nation. The only shame is if we opt to be a bystander, ignore all these scandals and let the evil triumph.
