Watch out TheMalaysianInsider.com

Watch out themalaysianinsider.com. It could be the most insidious so-called independent Internet media sponsored by BN-linked corporate figures. It may publish articles written by opposition leaders, independent commentators and outspoken scholars that lashing out at BN regime to showcase it has unbiased editorial content. But please be aware that it always publishes headline news that serving the political agenda of BN at the critical moment.

It tends to publish unsigned headline political analysis that intends to divert readers' focus from the root cause of current political instability and controversial issues.

It has built up its reputation by making the more-credible online news media such as Malaysiakini and mainstream print media such as Sinchew, The Star and etc to cite its sources of INSIDER NEWS. By this way, gradually it replaces Malaysiakini as Malaysian public's primary online news source and imperceptibly influence the public to believe in BN's propaganda.

If you cannot convince them, confuse them.

Its major role is not to convince you that Barisan Nasional (BN) is your choice but to confuse you so that you will be feeling that Pakatan Rakyat (PR) should not be your option.

It has perfectly fit into BN's entire propaganda mechanism so far. While Utusan, Berita Harian, NST, Agenda Daily are playing the role to consolidate existing support among BN's traditional supporters; the not-so-biased The Star and TheMalaysianInsider.com are playing the role to dilute the confidence of middle voters towards Pakatan Rakyat.

I disagree. Malaysiakini is the one who is clearly biased towards opposition.

However, in view of so many government controlled main stream media, I do not mind that.

But to say that an online press contains elements of supporting the current government means it is trying to confuse the public is preposterous.

Where did you pull this conclusion from? Hearsay? or your own analysis?
